Christopher Nolan has made all Batman fans worldwide very happy, but most of all proud. Comic book fans are a very dedicated and loyal crew. What if you were 8 years old, your parents take you out to a movie and some loser thug named Joe Chill kills your parents, right in front of you? Would you not be cold, distant, and perhaps even odd? Christopher Nolan has done a fantastic job telling the story as it should be told. "The Legend Ends" on July 20th, but Christopher Nolan has ensured his Dark Knight will live on for a very long time.

Who is Bane? Bane is that guy who was born and raised in prison. He is that guy who broke Bruce Wayne's spinal cord. He is a smart and physical freak who has been fighting to survive his entire life.

In Batman The Dark Knight, we witnessed Heath Ledger transform The Joker into the villain we all knew and wanted to see for so long from the comic books.

The question is can Tom Hardy bring Bane to life like Heath Ledger did with The Joker? All signs point to yes, and we can tell from the trailer that Bane is no stranger to death and destruction. Tom Hardy himself described Bane as an absolute terrorist. If he can make that transition on screen, get your popcorn ready! It is sure to be one hell of a ride! Christian Bale is back for his final Batman movie. He said earlier in an interview that this will be his final movie wearing the Batman costume. Gary Oldman is also returning to play Jim Gordon. Then you have Michael Caine playing Alfred, and Morgan Freeman playing Lucius Fox. The new members for this final installment is Anne Hathaway, who takes on the infamous role of Selina Kyle. For those that don't know that name, you might know her famous alter-ego of Catwoman.

Anne Hathaway gets plenty of screentime in the trailer and is sure to be a hit. Christopher Nolan also adds Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard, who were both in his huge hit Inception. Overall the cast stays the same, lined with star power and an enormous amount of talent. Of course you have Liam Neeson and the above mentioned Tom Hardy.

O and did I mention Troy Polamalu, Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward and many other NFL Pittsburgh Steelers all make their movie debut! With the new additions this is sure to be nothing less than a blockbuster.

Batman The Dark Knight was released in 2008 and is one of the top ten biggest grossing movies of all time! It pulled in a worldwide total of $1,001,921,825. This new and final installment, Batman The Dark Knight Rises is set to break records once again! It has an estimated budget of $250 million, up from the estimated budget of $185 million from Batman The Dark Knight. I think it is safe to say this Batman will rise right into the record books! Denzel Washington Reaches The Heights And The Depths in "Flight"

When you get on an airplane, whether you're a constant traveler or a white-knuckle bundle of nerves, it's good occasionally to be greeted by the pilot. The trip is in his or her hands. Pilots know what they're doing, right? Everything will be fine.

In the superb "Flight," the passengers on Whip Whitman's (Denzel Washington) trip have a bit to be worried about. Aside from facing an upcoming storm, the pilot has a secret. He's an alcoholic.

Whip is awakened the morning of the flight by an angry call from his ex-wife. It's truly the morning after the night before, with his very gorgeous, very nude flight attendant Katerina Marquez (Nadine Velazquez) in the hotel room with him. He does a line of cocaine to balance out a sky-high blood alcohol level. Just a little eye-opener.

In full pilot uniform and sunglasses, he confidently enters the plane looking, well, looking very Denzel, to the powerful "Gimme Shelter" as background music. His first officer, Ken Evans (Brian Geraghty), is a little bit green. Lovely Katerina ("Trina") is handling coach. Whip even takes a little nap during the flight. Then the plane literally falls apart. With an engine on fire and no control, Whip tells Evans they're going to roll the plane. ("We're gonna do what?") He rolls it, upside down, right side up, with luggage falling on screaming passengers. Incredibly, he successfully lands it in a field, with churchgoers running for their lives. In later testing and reenactment of the flight, it's proven that no one - no one - could have landed that plane, with only four fatalities among the 102 survivors. Trina was one of them.

Whip ends up in a hospital. He's visited by Charlie Anderson (Bruce Greenwood), who tells him he's a hero. He's all over the news. (A lovely bit of trivia: Greenwood and Washington acted together in "St. Elsewhere" in the 1980s.) He's also visited by Harling Mays, his drug contact (John Goodman, a real scene-stealer). Charlie then introduces Whip to lawyer Hugh Lang (Don Cheadle), who tells him a blood test revealed alcohol in his system. Because there were deaths, that could lead to a trial - and the death penalty.

Whip hides out at his father's farm to avoid the press and pours all the booze down the sink. Then a meeting with the lawyer paints a frightening picture, and he heads to a bar. A hearing is scheduled to take place. He's sequestered in a hotel room the night before, swearing to stay sober, but decimates a next-door minibar. Then comes the hearing. You have to see for yourself.

Denzel Washington balances the panache of the experienced pilot with the tragic plight of alcoholism. As cocky as he looked entering the plane, he later shows the downward spiral of his greatest weakness. He's been lauded for his performance, and there's Oscar buzz. South Africa has been a prime location for film productions for years now, but it is still a novelty to find an international movie or major TV series actually set on the streets of Cape Town or Johannesburg. So it was with great excitement that South African movie goers greeted the release of Safe House earlier this year, and that is not the only movie to be filmed on location in Cape Town recently.

Safe House - This blockbuster box office hit stars Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds and was filmed on location in and around Cape Town. The story of a young CIA agent on the run as he tries to look after a fugitive in a safe house gives lots of scope to the Mother City as a setting. Capetonians get extra thrills from location spotting of their familiar streets and mountain, but from the fact that it scored a huge $40.2 m in its first weekend after release it went down a storm everywhere else in the world too.

Chronicle - Here Cape Town is doubling for Seattle, as three teenagers with supernatural powers find their lives spiralling out of control. The sci-fi thriller is filmed as if it were found-footage put together from video recordings. As well as being filmed on location in the streets of Cape Town, the production used sets constructed on a film studio stage at Cape Town Film Studios. Left hand drive cars were shipped in especially for the production and ingenious special effects produced to show the effects of the heroes' telekinetic powers crushing a car.

Dark Tide is another 2012 release filmed on location in and around Cape Town. This harnesses the power and drama of the ocean as Halle Berry stars as a diving instructor who returns to work in deep waters after an almost fatal encounter with a shark. The crew shot on a small boat with real great white sharks in False Bay. The studio filming in an underwater tank was completed at Pinewood Studios in the UK. The film was released in March 2012 and didn't get very good critical reviews, either for the plot or for the acting, but everyone agrees that the scenery is stunning, as you would expect for any movie filmed with the Cape Peninsula as a backdrop.

Tyler Perry's Newest Release of the Madea Movies

Tyler Perry has done it again in the latest of the Madea movies, "Madea's Witness Protection." The beloved wise-cracking African-American grandma is again making her presence known on the big screen. Played by the ever prolific and talented Tyler Perry himself, Madea opens her home to a family on the run from the Mob. Comic genius Eugene Levy plays the CFO of a New York investment house who is framed and accused of defrauding churches and charities. The boisterous "real-life" household of Madea forces his family and hers to learn some invaluable lessons. George Needleman, a high level CFO in New York City, is accused of spearheading a Ponzi scheme involving the mob. This forces his family into the witness protection program. Madea's house down south with her brother, Joe and nephew Brian is a place that absolutely no one will think to look for them.

While not necessarily intended to be Christian films, most Madea movies usually feature a distinctive Judeo-Christian worldview.
